The other-side of the picture
I was falling in the depths of depression, grimacing at my reflection. If it was lighter, I think I'll feel a lot better. My cousin, whom I admire, gets the most likes and attention—a girl with a pretty figure, should I mention. She's out enjoying life; I'm at home reading scripture. Her life is what I dream. I seek to be her, in her position. She appears as a model fresh out of a magazine collection. Men drooling over her; on the other hand, I get no attention or acknowledgement. I'm always getting used for some odd reasoning, until God came into my life and had me see the things on the other side of the mirror. Life had gotten brighter. I now don't stress upon whether I'm liked. I just pray to God at the end of my chapters to see the ushering of the light.
