The Outrageous Outcry

A simple outcry it was
An innocent,but wanting cry
Gradually it became higher in frequency with time
Attracting the nearby neighbours
As if crying was not enough
Malodorous the environment turned to be
Maybe by that people will notice
And come to see the tragic occurrence
At first it seemed like a foiled attempt to me
There he was,
Lying on his back,
In his birthday suit
All left to return to the heavens
Unwanted visitor he seemed.
In a garbage dump,
he was cold-heartedly left
The pungent smell,
chilling dawn cold,
And a bed of nylons
Was all he could ever experience
in his short stay
A last cry he gave,
As if to thank us for being his witnesses
then to the heavens his soul left
At least there he will be accepted,
I told myself
Inhuman we humans have become
being a human is no longer a blessing
but a curse in disguise
Animals we call the animals,
yet we are the actual animals
Lamenting to the Creator
When our prayers aren't answered,
Yet we are our own prayer barriers
Humanity is in danger!
Differentiating between an animal,
And mankind
A Nobel prize awarding challenge it has become
