It's the place where we used to play
Back when mother's used to pray
It was a safe place for kids to be
Centred where adults could see
But times have vastly changed
Children are not kids anymore
From morals they're estranged
Parents teachings they ignore
Alcohol and drugs are on high demand
No one tries to make amends
They're growing up way too fast
Ignorance is why they fail the test
This is the place where I used to play
But like everything else it faded away
