across the high desert land love died hard and alone in the endless sage and sand , the snow topping the sierra nevada mountains is really cold but nothing compared to the lies you told , I felt frozen in time as I listened to what I knew was soon to be the end ... the end of me and my love for life the end of family now nothing to show no where to be no where to go , been lost inside stay drunk in this dark room is where I hide the same place it all ended the place where I once died ..she told me good bye but never a tear never cried . the only life I know denied .
