The Poetic Barrister

Looking nice with my black gown,
I feel proud when I walk to town,
losing a case puts me down,
I am the master of legal jargon.
I am the poetic barrister,
Representing bachelor and spinster,
Guru of laws not politics like minister,
I am the legal monster.
I like winning the case,
I'm not advocating ambulance chase,
Honoured to do defense,
I hate a witness with false pretense.
