Ink spills onto the page,
As the poet's heart takes center stage,
A story of love unfolds,
In the words that the poet holds.
A love that blossomed like a flower,
In the warmth of the summer hour,
Two hearts beating as one,
Underneath the bright, shining sun.
Through the autumn leaves they walked,
Their love, like the colors, never mocked,
Together, they danced in the rain,
And their love, like the drops, never waned.
Winter came, and the nights grew cold,
But their love never grew old,
Wrapped in each other's arms,
They weathered the storms.
And when spring returned once more,
Their love, like the flowers, began to soar,
With each passing day, it grew,
As the poet's words turned to "we" from "you".
Their love story was a work of art,
Etched forever in the poet's heart,
A tale of love that will never die,
As long as the poet's ink continues to dry.
