"The Power of  God's Word" Vol. 2

"For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:" Isaiah 55:10. The message I got from this scripture is that God's word is like rain and snow. We should always let the word dwell in us. Take the word of God with us everywhere we go. For instance, going to school every day and getting on the bus was when I would want God to be with me at all times or anywhere else I go. I would take the hand Bible with me wherever I go. Some people would walk up to me and make comments about me reading the Bible saying, "that is the best book in the world you are reading. " There was a moment where a woman approached me at the bus stop saying, ''that is wonderful that you as a young person reading a Bible, I never saw that before." Those words were so encouraging. We shall let God's word revive in us. God's word is our life, not death. God's word has power and authority. When I am feeling down and angry, I would run straight to God and prayer. I would ask God to speak to me, and most times he would give me the answers through his word. We must make God a priority in our lives. The first thing we should do in the morning is to go straight to the bible. God does not want to be on our schedules. Put him before our schedule.
