"Is not my word like as fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?"Jeremiah 23:29. What I got from this message is that we do need fire in our word. For example, before Covid-19, I was attending Sunday school bright and early every Sunday getting hungry for the word. There would be some Sunday school teachers that did not put fire in the word or in their teachings. Their lessons would be so dry that I would lose focus and felt like taking out my sketch pad and draw. It was not the lesson that was dry, it was the individual who made God's word and lessons sounded dry. When someone preaches or teaches, I want them to have some fire and rhythm in the word in their teachings to wake me up. Fire brings comfort, and the word of God is like fire. God's Word is like a hammer.
