Walking through my mind
What is it that I will find
Long forgotten memories
But there are no guarantees
So I paged through years
Of all my hopes and fears
I've learned some lessons
Some unanswered questions
Is what got my attention
And stopped me again
I lingered just for awhile
Then I regained my smile
Sometimes it's even better
If you don't know the latter
Coz it can break you apart
And eat away at your heart
The past is never forgotten
It's where the present began
