The Problem with Straight Pride

(This is NOT aimed at straight allies, it is targeted towards a very specific audience. Also, there may be unnerving statistics.)
------------------------------
I can imagine the pride parade for the straights, a gray flag sitting under a grey sky, while gray streets are barely visible under plastic smiles.
I envision cardboard cutouts of quickly scribbled families, claiming to be content when the opposite is true.
Marriage- They say it's only between a man and a woman- Those are the kinds of humans I think of.
The people who stare at me with disgust as I share how I used to hate myself for being Bisexual.
The people who pin queers below so many light pebbles, it becomes heavy all too fast.
I picture my mom and step-dad, shaking their heads as I share my soul with them for the first time-
"Why don't straights have pride parades?" Is the entirety of my school's history timeline not enough for you?
If you look up murders against LGBTQ+ citizens, they will ask you, "In which state?"
Australia: Richard Johnson was gang bashed in Alexandria Park in 1989- Tyrone Unsworth (a gay student) killed himself after prolonged homophobia in his school.
Canada: Kenneth Zeller (a gay teacher) was murdered by five young offenders in 1985- March 19th, 1989, Joe Rose (an LGBTQ+ rights activist) was stabbed to death for having pink hair.
United Kingdom: Steven Simpson (an autistic, openly gay 18-year-old) was set on fire at his own birthday party.
Over 114 physical attacks were broadcasted on the American news in 2019- A black transgender woman was murdered in her apartment in Memphis, Tennessee.
There are thousands more, but do you see the problem?
Why
Would you have
A parade
For Slaughterers?
