What is a promise
but an oath spoken to another?
A strong oath so effortlessly breakable
that FRAGILE has been stamped on its exterior.
What is forever
but a promise of eternity?
A promise of undying love
Of a fire, an INFERNO that would burn endlessly.
To promise forever would then be
To swear an oath fragile yet strong.
To keep that INFERNO alive and well,
Burning faster, bigger, brighter and effulgent.
