The Promise Ring
Two years ago I bought her a promise ring. Only to find out later that the ring didnt mean a thing. I thought of the promise ring would change her mind. Only to find out that it was more secrets for me to find. I realized I was making her my all. Only to give her my heart for her to step on and watch me fall. I thought that this meant that we were committed. Only to realize she was never marriage material because guys of her past always hit it and quit it. How I thought she could be my queen. I knew it was a mistake when I gave her a promise ring. Sometimes you can be so blinded of what you thought was love. Only to find out their other priorities were always above.
