She stood there on the corner
Looking for some kinda loner
One who needs the company
One who can pay real money
That's how I thought it was
But my eyes can see clear
Yes we don't know her scars
Nor do we see her tears...
Her story is really a painful one
She have a daughter and son
Two years ago their dad passed away
Since then things were not okay
She had no source of income
Her family made her feel unwelcome
It was not an easy decision for her
She had so much fear to conquer
She was introduced to the act
And lost her self-respect
But she had no other option
She had no helping companion
At least she can sleep peaceful
Knowing her kids are taken care of
Sometimes life can treat you cruel
But never forsake the ones you love
