The Rapture

And so you left me
Jaded and gaunt, some September
Wilted with the seasons,
But hidden inside the delusion,
I saw your eyes somewhere.
Devoid of death,
The aura poises amidst (the storm)
In solid tears I linger,
A parlour glade, a moonlit sorrow.
In Lonely resting pools,
like Relics of a moon-lit lake,
Whispering all your words.
Am I not like them?
Those who mourn and turn away.
i would give anything
to see you again,
If only for another second.
Your face was, like the most
reminiscent of photographs.
From the times we did not often speak about.
What does it matter now?
In the cloak of an autumn shroud
I gaze a dim ricochet of your starlight.
I now it's time for me to leave now.
You sleep in the light.
Now the night and
the silent water,
is so dark.
Hold me underneath your water
(within your rapture,)
on my coldest moonlit nights.
Where I believe every word you say.
Tell me once more that I'm safe here.
I never believed, so give me faith.
The fear of death is sinking in.
I'd rather die than let it sink in.
