This is one of my oldest poems

The shadow

I follow you, where ever you go

Nothing you do is out of my sight

Silently, I wait to give you a fright

I am your shadow, I am your disease

Nothing you do is out of my sight

I will not leave, until day turns to night

I am your shadow , I am your nightmare

I am your disease , you will cry please !

I will always follow , I will always wallow

And I will not cease , until you fall to your knees

I see every move, I see every reaction

Nothing you do is out of my sight

When I surprise, you will take flight

When you wake, and where you go

When you look, I will always know

You will become scared, and it shows

I am your shadow , I am your nightmare

I am your disease , you will shout please!

I will always follow , I will still wallow

I will not cease , until you drop to your knees

You can not hide, I am your nightmare

Don't try and run, I will always be there

Just remember, to say your prayers

I am your stalking shadow , your worst nightmare

I am your worst disease , you will scream please

And I will always follow , I. will forever wallow

I will never ever cease , you will crawl on your knees
