'The Shielded Heart'

A negative past can lead to a negative present.
I prepare the positives today for tomorrow's blessings.
I must live by my every word, carefully-made vows.
A promise is like sunlight, if incomplete then frustration is in the clouds.
Strip everybody of their earthly possessions, what then is their wealth?
I won't take for granted the chances of advancement to further correct myself.
God gave & created everything that exist.
I can't complain or curse his name when it's stripped.
I speak on all of my storms to the weathermaker.
And gather all the wind, rain & lightning through the pen & paper.
I do all that I can to get what I need, without wicked procedures.
Righteousness can protect from those with illicit demeanors.
My God thrives outside of time even before the 1st note was created.
Before the band played at the entrance, my life was already orchestrated.
Forgiveness produces freedom from the feelings.
I can get my act together without acting clever, love is still reaching & revealing.
Insight, creativity & altruism are my friends in the spiritual.
The gravitational pull of the manifestation is due at the right time, till then I write rhymes metaphysical.
