The sky that twinkles...
The sky wears clouds like woven lace,
a drifting veil in twilight's grace,
they whisper dreams the winds recite,
beneath the hush of coming night,
The stars arrive in silver pairs,
like secrets caught in midnight stares,
they twinkle truths we dare not say,
but long to feel in some small way,
The moon, a lantern hung so high,
paints lullabies across the sky,
and every breeze that brushes through,
holds lull and longing dipped in dew,
So let me lie beneath this dome,
with cloud and cosmos that I call home,
the night may never speak aloud,
but still, it sings within each cloud..
