There was an accident and a woman was left in the woods, most probably left to die.
She was looking for help.and passed out
A tear she did not cry.
A few days on her own,
If only she had not been alone.
While she lay there for death,
Her soul left her body, and let out a breath.
Her soul searched around but nobody was there.
It seemed like no one did care.
Her eyes were closed tight,
Her soul searched the site.
it looked down at its weary body and as it touched it's own hand, the soul went back inside.
But her eyes never moved at all.
If only she did not fall.
Hours later, the ambulance had arrived,
They announced her death and said no chance she could have survived.
As her body was being wheeled away in the ambulance, her soul left her side.
It went back into the woods where she was last found.
Now it shall stay there, on the other side of town.
Maybe that's what happens to your soul when it is left alone.
