O

The Stranger Next to Me

I'm standing right here beside you
but the paranoia starts to gets to you
It's your third day up without any sleep
sleep deprivation makes the road deadly and steep.
you accuse me of having guys hiding in our home
say I cant be trusted to do anything alone
you look at me with your eyes are full of hate
In you head the paranoid thoughts ruminate
There is no remnants of
the man you use to be
I don’t even recognize
the stranger standing next to me
I fell in love with a man
who was generous and kind
But The man I fell in love with
is becoming harder to find
Lost through the years slowly fading away
Even though I rarely find him
I cannot bare to walk away
I know he’s buried deep inside, somewhere in this stranger
staying to find you even as my
sanity and life are in danger
