This is for everyone who'll listen,
Because, we all struggle inside.
Jesus told us of battles,
Caused by spirits that coincide.
We all have to be aware,
There's invisible forces out here.
Our fight isn't with people,
But, we have nothing to fear.
As long as we have the Lord,
The only one who sits most high.
All those invisible forces,
Are terribly scared of our ally.
They have to answer to Him,
In reality, we all do.
He speaks of them alot,
And, that He will get us through.
All these bad thoughts we all have,
We don't generate them on our own.
The devil is doing his job,
Ours is to call out to His throne.
So, when the fights that we face,
Feel overwhelming, and they will.
Cry out to Jesus,
Trust Him, and be still.
He is the only one,
That never leaves our side.
He is the only one,
Walking by our every stride.
He is the only one,
Who loves us with never-ending affection.
He is the only one,
Who gives us His hedge of protection.
Jesus came to save us,
Through Him, we are healed.
He is our offense, and our defense,
Our strength, and our shield.
We are to love Him,
With everything that we are.
Then, love one another,
Through every one of our scars.
Someone once said,
Knowing is half the battle.
And, we don't have to allow,
The other half of it get us rattled.
He wants us to open the bible,
To read His Holy word.
To listen to what He says,
And, understand what we've heard.
We can always count on Him,
And, what He shows us to perceive.
All it really takes,
Is to talk to Him, and BELIEVE.
