Side by side we shared the night,
as her body rests on mine.
And when she moved to me
then layed so comfortably
there is this feeling I cannot define.
Those lips they tease, and how I often dream to please this woman causing
such wanted peace.
Close and still so far away it seems,
these dreams are not meant for me.
My fingers long to dance once more,
upon each contour of her skin.
And when the sun arrived to open up
her eyes, I miss that sigh she softly sings.
Under a mornings light her smile ignites
to fuel the embers of my heart.
I have to hide this pain inside of me,
and remain lost in the dark.
She is the only girl who walks
throughout this world,
that I can truly say I love.
But there is another man holding
onto her hand, and I'm afraid
that i am not enough.
So I leave again, each time a smile
to pretend, that everything's okay.
Turning my back to such beauty
just as the sadness cuts through me,
while my feet won't stop from walking away.
