grandma was wise
she understood life more than me
she had the knowledge of life
grandma said this to me
she covered her lips with one finger
and said," trust no one"
"do not trust anyhuman with your secrets of your heart, they will one day stand in the congregations and judge you with it"
my grandma was wise
but i like a fool did not listen
i gave a friend a weapon
and ammunition
and she attacked my character
my self esteem
today i sit here reminiscing of the words my grandma said to me
for indeed she was wise whe she said
"do not tell the secrets of your heart to anyone"
