It's not just a Spiritual Antiquity
Nor a law made in a Hurry
Neither is it a Divine Biography
But something to save us from Eternal Obituary
Was not made Arbitrarily
To put us in a kind of Captivity
But with Enormous Quality
To take us to Eternity
Hence this Lenten Season
Should make me reflect with Reason
For if it's an empty Writing
Moses wouldn't spend 40 days and nights to Get It.
So it's words I must Cherish
In my Heart it must be Embellished
So that all Fleshy Rubbish
It's presence will Extinguish
Written in Exodus and Deuteronomy
To be seen by all Asundry
Hence when we come before the Divine Jury
It's impact will save us from Hell's Furry.
