Long he stood before the sea
He looked but failed to see
He admired the sand and the waves,
But he never knew
How could he?
He never knew
That his sins were as many as the grains of sand
Scattered all across the land ,
Stretching as far as the eye can see.
With every step he takes on the sand,
a memory is breaking loose.
An epiphany!!!
The sea can wash clean his head.
What a stormy head he got!!
That’s why he is here
To have a moment of peace,
only a moment.
Time is out.
like it always does
He flew to the highest heavens.
Then, got smashed against the sand.
The harsh sand.
All “his waste” is spitted out to his face.
Is it too filthy to be carried away by the waves?
Is it too bitter to be swallowed by the sea?
Now, he doesn’t have to look to see.
