The Trees

Standing high, majestically tall,
these things I adore,
they shed their leaves in fall,
and then they grow more
They are found in grassy lanes,
we can view from window panes,
they can be seen in dense forests,
or at the time of fruit harvests
They have a thick, and broad trunk,
under it, lie those who're drunk,
the thick, green bushy leaves,
provide us shade, heaves and heaves
They have fruit, sweet and tasty,
and the juice trickles down,
to eat them, I am very hasty,
these trees, deserve a crown !
And whenever, I walk past them,
they give me shade, pretty good,
and that's why we should respect them,
I told you, we really should!
