In a world of stark division,
A rich lady and a poor boy found their vision.
Their eyes met, and they fell in love,
A love that soared on the wings of a dove.
But society frowned upon their love,
For they were from worlds far above.
The lady's family was affluent and proud,
While the boy's was humble, and spoke no loud.
They tried to separate the two,
But the lady and the boy knew what to do.
They fought for their love with all their might,
For they knew that their love was a beautiful sight.
They faced opposition from every side,
But love's fire within them could not be denied.
They held each other's hands with steadfast resolve,
And marched ahead, a love story that would evolve.
With every obstacle they overcame,
Their love grew stronger, like a burning flame.
The boy worked hard, and his fortunes turned,
For love's light, in his heart, brightly burned.
The lady's family saw the boy's love,
And knew he was worthy of their dove.
They welcomed him with open arms,
And embraced him with love's charms.
Finally, they were free to be,
Together in love, as happy as can be.
Their love had conquered every strife,
And had become a precious treasure of their life.
So the moral of the story is quite clear,
That true love is worth every tear.
For love that's pure and true will always win,
And will bring happiness from deep within.
