"The True Riches of the Heart"

In the tapestry of life, I've seen faces fade,
Friends and kin, like shadows, begin to dissipate.
Not through the cruel hand of fate or death's sway,
But due to the wealth dividers, they slipped away.
In this world where gold and silver hold sway,
They turned their backs, forgot we used to play.
Yet, in my heart, I know a truth to convey,
That riches aren't the soul's true display.
I may not have fortunes to flaunt today,
But tomorrow's promise, I'll never betray.
For even now, when my pockets seem gray,
I've much to offer in a heartfelt way.
My shoulders are here, for burdens to relay,
I extend my helping hands, come what may.
My ears are open, ready to listen and obey,
With healing words, your fears I'll allay.
Material wealth may shine in the sun's ray,
But the riches of the heart will never decay.
So let us embrace the love that does not decay,
For in giving and caring, we'll find our own payday.
Let's remember the bonds that can't fade away,
And cherish the true riches that forever stay.
In unity, we'll find strength along the way,
No matter what the world might say.
