The Unlimiting Love

A love so gentle yet so strong.
Is the love I called a Father's love
This love I'm sure and trust.
As I hurt my knee, crawling
I see his hands soothing me,
Wiping my tears and lifting me high
I felt my spirit low, losing
His words of wisdom encouraging me.
I find myself light and full of joy.
Sometimes I turn deaf ears to him.
Realizing I cry and smile a little;
His heart melts and anger fade away.
Pain and loneliness enters my heart
He looked at me and holds me tight,
All hurts fade and disappear away
Troubles and hardships blow in,
Like a pillar he stands strong;
Less I fall or fly away.

Silent and solemn, his mind ticking :
Ways to provide me - comforts of the world.
A life easy for me to trod.
Then I stood - tall and content.
Discovering and fulfilling my dreams
His lips twitch and he stands proud.
This what I think is the father's love;
A fantasy spun by thoughts,
Of longing and dreaming
For what one really feels.
I know not how
Father's love - a mystery to me!
Then a thought strike me;
Yes! I know a Father's love - real and strong
The Father above has shown me too -
An unlimiting love.
