The unreciprocated love

My stubborn heart couldn't leave you if though you rejected it
My weeping soul vouched for you even when you wanted to be just friends
My skin bled from a rageful punch on the wall of separation
How could we be friends when I always dream us to be more
Maybe not in this lifetime but how could it hurt so much
The breeze of  unreciprocated love hovered around me like a plague
I wanted to die at the thought of you in the arms of another
I wanted to believe the words of a great philosopher, whatever is yours will come back but you never did.
Maybe it is just time to say good bye and morn the lost pieces of my life
Tried to hate you and spite the ground you walked but couldn't do it without hating me, so I gave up the chase while still hoping for a graceful console.
