The air was hot on that December day, all I knew slowly fading away. A tear did fall their down my face, left upon my tongue a bitter taste.
My head grew heavy, my sight drew dim, ever looming thoughts of her embracing him.
And all I knew was who I was not, a man she cared for once but somehow forgot.
The essence of the questions "why?" Fueled my extensive need to cry.
Whence alas the final tear drop fell, I heard it's ripple echoing in the well.
A well I made from sweat and tears on this hot day filled of December fears.
Where sorrow, rage and hate drew nigh, I made my decision to attempt to fly.
Standing on the unsafe side of the rails, I listen close for my ancestors hails.
But none came calling, it was clear I walked this alone, the thought of which chilled me to the bone.
As I let go of that anchor which held me to this land, I feel the bar slipping from my hand.
A forward motion with just one step, I remember there an instant sense of regret.
It's too late now though, my sadistic fate sealed, a bleeding scar on my heart now healed.
For when the sudden stop came fast, the pain she brought simply could not last.
Now I sit here in torment and self brought shame, many years passed and I don't know my name.
Yet I still recall the name of she who lead me to this, my beautiful goddess, my fair lady Miss.
Eyes of blue in a shroud of gold, now my sad story has been told.
And a day that took me from many others life, based on a selfish decision of an untrue wife.
