The Vaccum of Death

The largest roots anchoring the largest trees,
Start, but as tiny seeds, with a pinkie hole embrace,
The earth takes it in, pulled out, the force frees
A gaping hole, one that's hard for anyone to brace.
We don't realise, how much one has filled our life,
Till we find ourselves face to garish face with truth,
Knocking in the wisecracks, we didn't learn in strife.
We never will learn, till the knock is on our mouth.
Let's not take it lightly, it'll creep up unexpected,
Let's keep our vigil, let's send it back empty handed,
Let's put up the fight for Life, keep up unexcited.
Death never awaits permits, knocking on the door,
Death, a shadow, slipping in where the body's poor,
Death, pulling the plug on life, final journey's moor.
