Jasmine met up with Mr. Hanks after class to discuss further more on how to cease the ventriloquist dummy that has been attacking her for the past week. When class eneded, she walked towards his desk, and he looked up at her.
"How are you Jasmine?" He asked.
"I'm good."
"Great, now let's get down to business. I hope your mother knows that you are staying," he said.
"Yeah she know."
"Great, now let's do this. Oh I just forgot, the lights and the incents I was telling you about," he said, opening his bottom drawer, and takes out a black bag, and gives it to Jasmine.
"What is this going to do?" She asked.
"It's going to help fight off the evil spirits in your home, but it won't stop the ventriloquist dummy, it's just for cleansing your house to make sure no evil spirits won't come inside, it brings peace in your home space, that's just the start," he said.
"Is this like Vudu or something?" She asked.
"No, Its not voodoo or witch craft, it's a spiritual cleansing," he instructed.
"Aw ok," he said.
"Yeah so let me tell you what I've found. It's so amazing the things you can find on the internet. Well I found out a way of how to cease a ventriloquist dummy. It turns to ashes by being soaked in holy
water."
"Holy water?" She asked, showing a confused expression on her face.
"Yes, and then call out a Wish spell," he said.
"A wish spell?" She asked.
"A wish releasing its
trapped souls to their intended afterlife. The purpose of this spell is for making wishes. For this spell you will need 7 Job’s Tears or 7 Mojo beans," he instructed.
"What the hell is 7 job's tears?" She asked, getting confused again.
"7 Job's Tears are seeds that comes in several colors. The 7 job seeds are sometimes used as ornamental beads. Usually the roots of a plant is sometimes used for medicine. Many people have used Job tears for a variety of conditions. You can also used for cure and protection. You place one Job’s tear or Mojo bean in your pocket every day for seven days. On the 7th day, go to a river or stream and make your wish “in the name of the father, Son, and the Holy Ghost." After that, you throw the seven beans or seeds over your left shoulder into the running water. Than, you walk away. Do not look back or your wish will not come true," he said.
"What?" She asked, confusingly.
Mr. Hanks sighed. "How many times I have to repeat myself?"
"We have to quote scriptures in the bible? And ain't no river in my town," she said.
"That's just what you say, and you make your wish to release the demonic specter inside of the ventriloquist dummy," he instructed.
"And the specter means the spirit right?" She asked.
"Yes. But before we do all of this, I would have to speak with your mother first."
Jasmine sighed. "Aww God."
"Yeah," he said.
"When?" She asked.
"Friday, how does that sound?" She asked.
"Cool."
"Alright, see you in class tomorrow," he said.
"See yah," she said, leaving the classroom.
