The Walk Home

It's a long walk home and I keep thinking what if I don't go home? What if I never go back? What if I take all the money I have and never look back? I'm all alone. This life is the only one I've ever known. Heard your voice on the phone, but you'll never know how I'm feeling inside. It's my fault, I'm sorry. I think you're open to me and what I want, but I just can't say it. I'm the reason we fall apart and I'm okay with it.
I'm tired, but my feet keep going. Everyone tells me to just keep going, but I'm tired. I'm just so tired. It's a long walk home, nobody knows where I am. Does anyone care where I am? It's almost like I don't exist. They all know I'm a flight risk. Sometimes I just wanna say fuck it, but I tend to do what I shouldn't like I'm destructive. You say I think too much, shit, that's true. Still broken up, but I'll never fully get over you.
It's a hell of a walk home. I'm wearing my best clothes. Headlights are blinding. The stop signs don't quite get me. Red and green lights all look the same to me. I guess I'll keep walking until I find what I've been searching for.
