THE WANDERER

You are my home I surely know
But your place is not my own
Since I was a guest you asked to stay
For sometime, to ease your bore away
I wander from places to places
Like a traveler in search of the unknown
You know the cost of stay differs
From cheap to lavish and to free
You are the home I have wanted to go
But there are only inns to stop by
Entering and walking out of doors
Empty my pockets and tire my soul
How does one wanders alone
With dauntless heart and aching soles
And keep going and going on
Knowing he'll never have that home.
