A white lion came to visit me
And settled by my side
His peace did fall upon my heart
And cast my fears aside...
He only stayed a moment
But rested in that thought
Was the love he felt it for all mankind
And the message that he brought
For peace, he said, is not a fight
Or one soul to another
Peace it lies within Us all
Each sister and each brother
His name was glowed as sunshine
His eyes held wisdom true
His presence was of stillness
A pause of all I knew
Accepting of his wisdom
He faded out of sight
Another astral messenger
Adrift into the night
But now I know he's with me
Protecting me in truth
For he knows I have the strength
To share that truth with you
Let peace become your knowing
Feel it calm your skin
For the world of peace we seek out with
Must first be felt within
