The winds influence

The winds influence
I wanna be like the wind, unseen
but my presence felt in all between
a shadow’s hymn, a fractured song,
a whisper that’s been silenced long.

Shhh
they told me hush, they turned away,
neglect was love in their decay.
I learned to vanish, learned to hide,
to be the draft that chills inside.

The wind remembers every scar,
it carries echoes near and far.
It shakes the shutters, bends the trees,
it howls through bones, it breaks the knees.

I move through silence, raw and wide,
trauma bleeding, yet dignified.
A storm, a sigh, a ghost, a cry,
a presence felt though none knows why.

I wanna be like the wind, unseen
not spotless, pure, or washed-out clean,
but fierce, unclaimed, a voice repressed,
a restless truth that won’t be guessed.

And when I pass, still wild, still free,
a wound, a song, remains of me.
A hush, a tremor, a soul compelled:
unseen but always, always felt.
