The Woman In Me

The fire that burns inside me is like an inferno.
It's so hot and the flames, oh no!
Cannot be extinguished,
Neither can it be quenched.
In fact, it just raises my vibration
To a higher dimension,
So I looked in my mirror to see what I'd see
Only to find a new reflection of me!
A new woman is birthed. There's no way I could keep her in.
A boost of confidence just burst from within.
She showed up and shouted, "I didn't wanted to be caged!"
So I let her out, despite of her rage.
A sly smirk she gave, telling me she's happy to be free.
Unintentionally, she was locked away and I, had the key,
But somehow I felt great, knowing she's out.
This power that came with her, pushed through me, no doubt
And the strength and vigour of the words from her mouth
Spoke volume to everyone she interacted with.
I always thought that having her inside was only a myth,
Because I saw glimpses of her, but never this depth.
Now that I've seen her in full, I'll cherish her to my death.
