The women in my life have taught me
How to have strength
be kind and loving
to have a backbone
but to see clearly
to let go of pain
and be set free
to stand up to all the bullies
for me to never judge
but instead to try and see
to never give up if I fail
because I was meant
to live my dream
to never be violent when I'm angry instead walk away
or grab a pillow and scream
to ask for help when I need it
because needing help
doesn't make you weak
to never tell a lie
and always give honesty
to remember we're human
we all make mistakes
to love with my whole heart
and love others truly
and to live this one life fully
so I want to say thank you
to my hero my mom
the one I once called mommy
for guiding me on the path
to my life’s journey
and teaching me that
it won't always be easy
but life is full of beauty
