She didn't know how to tell him goodbye.
One look in those beautiful eyes, and she wanted to cry.
He had no idea what she was going to say.
But he felt the sadness, in her heart today.
She loved him deeply, but staying with him only brought her down.
Tonight she had to find a way to tell him she's leaving town.
He put Rose's on the bed,
And had the perfect proposal in his head.
He couldn't wait to ask her to be his wife.
He couldn't wait for her to be a part of his life.
They smiled at each other,
But they will never be together.
He went down on one knee,
with the ring in his hand, he asked her to be his wife, with the " no " response, they didn't agree.
They both broke down into tears.
Realizing they have faced their fears.
Their last hug felt like the longest one they ever had.
She left him, not because she didn't love him, but because she had to find herself.
In the book of love, that's what their story was about.
