I was crushing,
No wings to keep me flying,
Felt weary from trying,
But there was God,
I was lost,
Couldn't pay the cost,
To the world I was cast,
But there was God,
I was blinded,
In the midst of chaos was my soul clouded,
never knew where my trust could be founded,
But there was God,
All I did was chasing the fame,
But all I got was the blame,
and my soul was all in shame,
But there was God,
I was waiting,
He was watching,
I was searching,
And there was God,
