There were mornings of nausea, days of doubt,
Questions and fears I had to work out.
A racing mind, a weary soul,
Yet somehow I kept moving toward my goal.
I learned to listen when my body spoke,
With water, sweet drinks, and the strength I woke.
Fruits for healing, rest when due,
Small lessons that slowly carried me through.
There were moments I felt overwhelmed and worn,
Wondering how I'd face another dawn.
But every challenge, big or small,
Never managed to make me fall.
Now I stand a little wiser than before,
Knowing what my health is asking for.
The journey isn't perfect, but I can say,
I'm still here, and I'm finding my way.
The storms have quieted, the skies are gray no more,
Hope has returned and opened a door.
And if you ask me how I am today,
I'm okay... and everything is okay.
