There were times
I felt discouraged
My own emotions
I couldn't manage
My soul was in despair
And life was so unfair
I had to work harder
Forced to be stronger
Pretended it was fine
Inside I went insane
Desperate for answers
But got more questions
I knew I was truly lost
The odds was against
I had to gain composure
Amidst desperate measures
To find who I really am
So my life wouldn't be the same
