These four walls

I dont want to leave
These four walls comfort me
There are no new faces watching me with uncertainty
Judging me for everything I am yet at the same time everything I'm not
The scars riddle my spirit as a constant reminder of each battle that I've fought
I could never be that person, I tell myself, as I watch them come in and own the room with ease
Their heads are held high as they stand on the height of their own decrees

I wish that could be me
But years ago I was pushed down ever since then I've been living life on my knees
In my heart I'm no bigger than a flea
Just a fly on the wall praying no one notices me
I dont want to leave
These four walls, they comfort me.....
