Each one has a purpose
Never as simple as deception
But evidence of captivity
Maybe even protection or diversion
Since behind the curtain is an abyss
Truths better unknown
Please don't think they are being justified
Or that you are being taken as a weakling
For it takes more to accept these lies
Knowing that they are
Patiently waiting for an invite someday
These lies are no good, aren't right
But the truth isn't yours to know yet.
