They said you needed to be stable before you fall you fall in love
By their definition of stable, they meant money and an abode and still money
And then I saw the rich man hiding his wealth so he could find true love
And other with mansions and cars, a mere security guard his wife loved more than him
And then I wondered, what at all do we need to fall in love?
Not money, not houses, not the cars. Could it beauty then?
But then beauty lies in the eyes of the woman willing to see it
That tall man build like Hercules was turned down for snow white’s dwarfs
And I saw women with men without faces
And so I realized that love was for the tall and short, the rich and poor, the beautiful and the ugly
Find your wealth and all, but then wealth won’t find the love you seek
For all that a man needs is a beating boneless organ that keeps him alive
True love will find him one day, and if it doesn’t, at least he doesn’t get to be in a fake one he gets with what he has
