When you make the decision
To choose the person
You spend your life with
Who,you in so many ways things will give
Don't put yourself through pain
Because you decided with your brain
Who to choose
But you quickly did refuse
To let your heart do the thinking
You ignored that feeling that was convicting
Let your heart decide
Your heart has nothing to hide
As long as your in the right heart and mind
To you,your heart will be kind
Your heart wants you to have something real
Your brain may make you think or feel
Your doing something smart
But what do you feel or think in your heart?
Your brain may say,one day they will go away
But it doesn't have to happen that way
Maybe your brain may say, it makes sense
But do you know if they will make you tense
Make you do things you would never
Because you realise you don't want forever
With the person you choosed
Only because you were confused
On what to listen to carefully
So very willingly
Years later in regret thinking
With your heart sinking
If you knew this would be the future
You would of said no to them for sure
When you think with your heart
You will stop yourself later from falling apart
Through your heart a blessing you can get
Even if by something unfortunate
Your caught
You will still be thankful you thought
With not your brain, but your heart
