There is just one that I love
He takes my heart carefully in his hand
While giving me a playful shove
Makes me smile as I strike back
Maybe this world isn’t just white and black
Being with him takes away the stack of weight
On my shoulders that wanted to grow with me as I got older
He made my spark bold
Just as my courage was starting to fold
That spark ignited a fire continuing to inspire me to smile because before he came it had been a while
I shoved all of my feelings in a sealed file Hoping it would all fade
Along with the pain
Making life easier
And Blocking out the shade
