I look at the face on the mirror,
I see all the mistakes I've made earlier,
I feel all the moments I've spent in fear,
I remember all the times hope wasn't near,
I count all the times I've spent in tear,
I recall all the nights I spent in fight,
The scary dreams, the lonely times,
But I still had to put on my smiling face,
I look at the reflection and see the far I've come,
I look at me and see the times I lived in despair,
Though I may not fly,
I'll hope that I can at least crawl,
I know I've not won the war,
I'll trust in winning the world,
Today here I am, still on my feet,
Maybe am not yet there ,
But I know I'll get there,
Yet above all my knowing,
This Far is God and the rest is still God
