I woke up on a hospital bed
a cross was hanging over my head
the doctor showed no concern
the nurse brought me water
she begged me to drink
but as it touched my lips
it started to burn
on the table beside me
they placed a small book
the words written inside
but they can't make me look
so the read it aloud
they cry death be not proud
we sent them away
and we'll send you away too
