This may be a poem,
I may have written it.
But i am not only a poet.
I'm an artist.
For isn't that what we all are?
Every songwriter,
Every painter,
Every writer,
Every poet.
We are all artists
Trying to add our touch
of beauty to the world.
We are making our contributions,
By writing our songs,
Painting our canvas,
Creating our world,
Jotting down our thoughts.
It may seem simple to you,
A short song,
A small picture,
A short story,
A quick poem.
And this may be a poem,
And I may have written it.
But perhaps this took more thought,
Than you thought.
